In recent years, social media has changed the way that we share information. Sure, too much screen time is never a good thing, but social media acts as a powerful communication tool, as well as a great source of information — just be sure to do your research and always be on the lookout for false information, scams, and fraud! Social media allows us to connect with family around the world, keep tabs on people we went to high school with, keep up with current trends, be notified of upcoming events, and gain insight into our favorite restaurants, businesses, and celebrities. On June 21, we celebrate National Selfie Day (yes, this one actually exists), and on June 30, World Social Media Day. In honor of both, we’d like to put out a reminder to stay safe online, to always be on the lookout for scams and false information, and above all, to be careful about what you post online — especially when it comes to your case. The best advice that we can give is to avoid sharing anything online about a past or current legal case. Far too often, we’ve seen

cases damaged and credibility tainted by an innocent post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

When used correctly and honestly, social media is one of the best and fastest ways to share information, and here at Malloy Law Offices, we embrace it! Have you ever wondered what to do in the event of a severe head injury? What about if you are involved in a rideshare accident? Do you have questions about a car wreck and who is at fault? How about if you get injured on someone else’s property? On our Facebook page, Facebook.com/MalloyLawOffices , Sean Malloy provides answers to some of your most common questions and more via informational videos, posts, photos, charts, and infographics. Be sure to check us out and follow us on your favorite social media platform!
