Ship‘s Store Report

Greetings from the Ship’s Store staff of Deb deVries, Ellie Everitt, Michele Niblack, Kerri Pakalnis, Joanne Chute, and Cloe Gerri. It’s the end of May and we had a successful FCYC visit from the Ship’s Store perspective. We had more sales than we expected as well as many compliments on the store itself. We had just put out new merchandise as you can see from the pictures. • The new merchandise includes, men’s and women’s polos in fun colors, men’s and womens’s windbreakers, large sailcloth totes, women’s raffia hats (men’s are on backorder), double old fashioned glasses, and red/white and navy/white striped beach towels. • Next month we will be adding caps and visors, floatable key chains, and waterproof cell phone covers. • The Store is open whenever the Club is open. • We continue to look for ways to improve the honor system. We have new forms where you can just remove the tag and tape onto the form itself! • Check out the new Marina office where Missy Duffy, the new dockmaster resides. Jeff, the Club’s fabulous maintenance man, built shelves and a hanging rod so Missy can display the Riverside Marina logoed items we offer. It looks great! • Some of you have asked me for special order items. Like everywhere, our vendors have their own challenges getting merchandise and after we get it, we have it logoed locally. I am following up on a regular basis with vendors, but feel free to call/email me if you are still waiting for a special order item and would like to know the latest status. Phone: 612-669-3379 and email:deb@debdevries.com. Thanks for your support this year! Deb deVries
