Welcome. Our 2026 started off rolling with lots of new baby calves hitting the ground and a trip to Oklahoma City to the Cattlemen’s Congress to show our Red Angus and Salers cattle. Although Landon and Easton enjoy the show ring, our focus at home is to raise good, functional, marketable animals that can produce seedstock or terminal cattle to top the markets. All of our steers and cull heifers are retained, fed locally, and sold on the grid to obtain the best premiums available. We have spent many years raising our own bulls and also purchasing bulls that sire cattle that prove themselves on the rail. Our carcass data shows that the combination of breeds and percentages of these breeds proves they can stand at the top of the industry. We feel we have built a tremendous set of females in all our breeds. They are extremely maternal and are capable of producing seedstock to fit the needs of the beef industry. Even though our Red Angus and Simmental herds are small in numbers, we feel that using these same strict selection requirements when mating is producing the best offspring possible. Cattle prices are at an all-time high. With minimal growth in the cow numbers, these prices should hold for the next 2-5 years. Selling your feeder calves at these prices and increasing weaning weights by 50 pounds leads to higher profits down the road. History has proven that the end result from combining qualities from multiple breeds, hybrid vigor, gives more pounds in the end. This year’s offering consists of a stout set of yearling and 18-month-old bulls, including Salers, Composites, Red
Angus, and SimAngus. Bulls have been treated the same as in the past and have not been pushed to have excess fat. They are ready to be turned out to grass and will sustain a successful breeding season. The female offering is a good, young set of cows. Percentages vary, so we should have a good selection to fit your needs if you are in the cow market. Please keep watching our website and Facebook page for sale updates with calf information to come as they are born. We welcome you all to join us in person or online on March 22, 2026. We look forward to seeing and visiting with our past, present, and future customers.
