A DECADE OF DEDICATION Celebrating 10 Years With Wolf Retirement Navigation
As I reflect on the beautiful holiday season, I feel especially grateful and appreciative. Thanksgiving and Christmas have always been times of reflection, and now that we have welcomed a new year, I’m still in a reflective state. However, this time it goes back 10 years. Why? Because 10 years ago, I first opened the doors to Wolf Retirement Navigation. While remembering back a decade, I am also looking forward to celebrating this milestone all year long — it’s been a great decade of business, shaping the future and guiding our clients into rewarding retirements. Even though our years ahead may be challenging due to political, legislative, and economic events, I have come to realize that we will always have risks when “stuff hits the fan.” Whether it be market downturns, pandemics, or unfortunate/ unplanned happenstances, the important thing is that we are aware of and prepared for the negativity that results from many such risks. I am confident that our team here at Wolf Retirement is well equipped to help protect our clients from the ripple effects of negativity and such occurrences. Flipping the coin, we also believe in optimism as you strive for and reach an enriching retirement. We are here to guide you through and keep you positive! I am so thankful for all the clients who started with me back in 2014 and for all the new clients whom I haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting. But I’m not only thankful for our clients, I’m incredibly grateful for my team. For those who have recently visited our office, you have probably noticed our wall of photos spanning over the years. As we celebrate our decade-long anniversary throughout 2024, we will continue to showcase pictures, memories, and stories, and we invite all of you to join us by sharing special stories and pictures of your valued time with us. We want to hear about your milestones, successes, and good news, whether it be the birth of a grandchild, a marriage or graduation of a loved one, or your very own retirement milestone. Over the years, we have built a community of clients and their loved ones, and I’m so very fortunate to be a part of this extended family. Last month, as I celebrated my birthday, I realized that as I’m getting older, it’s a little more difficult to make and maintain true friendships. However, at our social events, friendships are present and abundant! It gives all of us a wonderful feeling to know that our get-togethers are such an important part of all our lives. results. Over the next decade, I plan to continue to increase and share my financial- and retirement-based knowledge through our monthly webinars. For those of you who have not yet registered for our Coach’s Corner webinars, I encourage you to do so. We are covering topics that are important and relatable to you, and we also welcome your input for future topics of discussion that matter to you — this is our way of reaching out to you and sharing information and real-time experiences. And, of course, the ultimate compliment we get from our clients is when you share our name with others. I look forward to a decade of strengthening our bonds and more participation in our social events and webinars. We are looking forward to exciting new client appreciation party venues, new platforms for our webinars, and new additions to our team — a new advisor and a new service assistant — so we can effectively increase our resources and communication with you. Together, we will kickstart a decade of more milestones, more successes, and more memories. We are dedicated to excellence in service, and I can’t say “thank you” enough for your trust and support — here’s to a great 2024 and another amazing decade! -Adam Wolf, CPA, CFP ® Annuity guarantees rely on the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurer. The Exciting Journey of Self-Discovery After Parenting RECONNECT WITH YOUR TRUE SELF
We dedicate our lives to our children. There’s no doubt about that, and we’re not talking a few years. We spend more than 18 years giving every part of ourselves to each child. Then, the inevitable happens: They grow up! Our kids are no longer kids, and they move on to college or move out, and suddenly, we’re on our own. After all these years, it can feel impossible to remember how to live for yourself. What do you enjoy? What do you want to do from now on? Who are you without your children? These can all be questions swirling around in your head as you get closer to having an empty nest. As you spend more time on your own, you need to start a journey of self-discovery. What have you been too busy to do as a parent? What hobbies have you left behind due to the hustle and bustle? What friendships and connections do you wish to re-spark? If you’re struggling to understand yourself, what you want, and who you want to be, practicing therapeutic activities first can give you a better idea. One way you can reconnect with your true self is by spending more time reflecting. You can try any of the following: • Mindfulness meditation • Journaling • Creating a vision board • Yoga • Volunteering • Beginning a new hobby
All these activities allow you to dig deeper into yourself, your desires, values, and your place in the world. It can be scary starting over again. But it’s time to start seeing this as a whole new beginning, one that’s as exciting as it is nerve-wracking. You have so many opportunities open to you now! Think of all the travels you can have now on your own. Imagine all the free time you can spend on fitness, reading, socializing, and more. Finding yourself again doesn’t have to be a bad thing. You’re entering a whole new era of your life where you’ll experience new freedoms that you haven’t experienced in two decades or more. Reclaim your life and enjoy it to the fullest!
A DECADE IN REVIEW Celebrating Robin’s 10 Years at Wolf Retirement
On Jan. 27, 2024, Wolf Retirement’s very own Robin is achieving a significant milestone as she celebrates her 10th year with the company. From being Adam’s first employee to evolving into an integral part of the Wolf Retirement team, Robin’s journey has been remarkably exciting, to say the least! A decade ago, when Adam first opened the doors to Wolf Retirement, Robin embarked on a new chapter in her career. With a background in marketing, customer service, and event planning, she initially stepped into the financial industry without prior experience. Reflecting on her journey, Robin shares, “The last 10 years have been amazing. I was Adam’s very first employee, and alongside the company, I’ve excelled.” In a field that was initially outside her comfort zone, Robin thrived. Throughout
the years, she not only honed her existing skills but also developed a profound understanding of the financial landscape. “Even when I felt that something was out of my wheelhouse or I wasn’t quite sure if I could tackle a specific task, Adam was there cheering me on. He had all the faith and confidence in me, and because of his support and encouragement, I’ve truly grown,” Robin explains. Robin originally started out in Andrea’s current role, the director of first impressions; and, along with the company, Robin’s current role has evolved. “I’m so proud of the company and everyone I work with,” Robin reflects. “We all have our own strengths and work together harmoniously to deliver the best experience possible for our clients.” As Robin celebrates this significant milestone, the Wolf Retirement team

joins in acknowledging her contributions and dedication. Her journey represents not only personal growth but also the success of a collaborative and nurturing work environment. Today, she looks forward to planning Wolf Retirement’s 10-year anniversary party in the spring — it will be an event to remember for many years to come! Here’s to Robin, a decade of accomplishments, and the continued success of Wolf Retirement!
