For more detailed information, and the new schedule o f broadcasts, address radio station KTBI. Miss Carter’s Work Greatly Blessed. Miss Marie Carter has been spending a part of her summer vacation at Mt. Ranier and in Los Angeles. Miss Carter, working under the direction of the Extension De partment, has been rendering splendid service in Northern California around the Bay District.' During the winter andSspring she organized and conducted three Euodia clubs and two others for business girls, in addition to many other profitable service contacts. At the close of the year’s work she conducted a girl’s conference for members of her clubs in Muir Woods. Miss Carter’s plans: for the coming year include additional clubs and the strengthening o f the work already started. Miss Carter has very many friends throughout the Biola family, having been formerly one of the Bible women and director of practical work for the young women of the Day School.

bridge and his assistant, Dr. H. W . Boyd of the Institute, far exceeded expectations and challenged any weakness of faith on the part of those responsible. They traveled by bus, 23 in the party, from Los Angeles by way of Tucson, Enid, Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Clevelarid, Buffalo, Syracuse, New York. City, Altoona, Pittsburgh, Dayton, Cedar Rapids, Omaha, Denver and filled every engagement on the schedule. They were on the road from June 12 to August 14. Reports from members o f the Club and from points along the route indicate that their programs were enthusi astically received. The fruitage of their- spiritual min istry will be beyond measure. There have been conver sions and hundreds o f re-dedications. Thousands o f Gos pels and tracts were distributed. They appeared before thousands of people and Biola is known from coast to. coast as never before. This tour is considered the most profitable extension work o f the sort, ever done by -the Institute. Miss Gillam Leaves Us. Miss Annie L. Gillam, director of Euodia work, has been compelled, on account o f ill health, to present her resignation and take a long-needed rest. During the ten years that Miss Gillam has been a member of the Bible Institute family, she has endeared herself to hundreds of friends and students of B. I. and more especially to those who have had in charge, the different girls' clubs and the girls who have been members of these bodies. Miss Gillam is a lady o f large experience, executive ability and with a most gracious Christian personality. The work with young people committed to her care three years ago has grown rapidly under her direction. She is now at home in London. She may be addressed as follows: Miss Annie L. Gillam, care of Miss Saunders, 122 West Side, Clapham Common, London S. W . 4, England. We
