CASE STUDIES
Queen’s University Belfast Social Hub When the former Speakeasy Bar underwent a reconfiguration and remodelling to create a new Social Hub for students and the community, NUGENT supplied and installed multiple MEP items including radiators and a heat recovery unit. NRC Causeway Campus, Coleraine NUGENT developed the MEP design for the new NRC campus, incorporating offsite manufacturing and modern methods of construction including BIM to model and coordinate the services to avoid structural and architectural elements. Templemore Baths, Belfast NUGENT provided a complete M&E installation for the refurbishment of the original Templemore Baths building and the extension including LPHW heating, ventilation, domestic services, underfloor heating, above-ground drainage and AC. PwC, Merchant Square, Belfast NUGENT provided MEP services for a Cat B fit-out at PwC’s Belfast offices, extending and modifying Daikin VRF systems in line with the PwC fit-out design and installing a Polar Energy System to provide heating to the kitchen areas via a new air-handling unit.
