20 YEARS
Fire Glass Direct has completed prestigious contracts across the education, healthcare, travel, retail, residential, leisure and commercial sectors in 2024. The business offers a vast range of internal and external products, with its most popular lines including glazed partitions and doors with or without a fire rating, balustrades and shopfronts. Fire Glass Direct also supplies and fits mirrors, back-painted glass, vision panels, privacy glass, floor glass, display cases, shower screens and more. Among its recent projects are: McConnell’s Distillery, Crumlin Road Gaol - Felix O’Hare McConnell’s Irish Whiskey opened its
new state-of-the-art distillery within the Gaol’s historic A-wing in 2024. After being awarded the contract, Fire Glass Direct liaised back and forth with the architect and main contractor, designing glazing systems to meet the specification. Installing fire-rated and walk-on floor glass, lift glazing, balustrade and glazed partitions (fire rated and non-fire rated), the project was a huge success.

The Europe Hotel & Resort, Killarney - GDC A high-spec renovation was commissioned for the presidential suite in one of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels. Working closely with GDC design team, Fire Glass Direct specified and installed pocket doors, bi-folding doors, shower screens and bathroom doors. Extra care and attention were required for this project, as many of the elements were incorporated into other joinery works.
