Case study: Invest NI
Invest NI were proposing a new Office and Business Hub within Dublin City Centre to act as their flagship office for Invest NI, Tourism NI and Northern Ireland in general. The new offices were to present a modern, vibrant and dynamic image to staff and clients and incorporate technology to facilitate flexible/remote working, communication and collaborative working. Having taken a lease for the 3rd floor within Riverview House, Invest NI appointed Ardmac, following a competitive procurement process, to fully refurbish and fit out their new space to a professional and comfortable space for clients and stakeholders to work on a short- term basis. The new offices consist of open plan offices, multi- functional hub space, reception & waiting area, flexible meeting & event spaces, staff kitchen facilities, breakout along with comms room and storage space. The architectural aspect included a substantial joinery package including Reception desk with coffee dock, Conference Room acoustic storage wall, hexagonal display shelving, Meeting Room acoustic wall feature, Library shelves, hot desk and phone booths. Acoustic sliding walls form part of the multi-functional hub space, one in timber and the other in a bespoke glass finish, achieved 54-decibel, enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of the space.
