A s exclusive MAXA distributors in Ireland, Hevac has made a wealth of innovative product and technology available to the Irish Installer market such as the MAXA series reverse cycle heat pumps. Designed for application in commercial and industrial sectors, the MAXA chiller / heat pump series is incredibly versatile and can operate in heat pump mode with the potential to produce hot water at temperatures of up to 58C for environmental heating and/or domestic uses. The MAXA series has been a hugely successful addition to Hevac’s chiller / heat pump offering, with numerous units supplied across Ireland to commercial and industrial projects such as nursing homes, primary care centres, public libraries, the OPW and private customers. The use of scroll compressor technology, specifically designed for refrigerant R32, is matched with an inverter DC brushless motor compressor. Fans are driven by inverter DC motors, while integrated circulators deliver variable water flow. Combined with the electronic expansion valve, these features work to optimise the energy consumption and the operational efficiency of the whole system. The MAXA chillers/heat pump units, available from Hevac, are fabricated in hot-galvanized sheet metal, painted with polyurethane powder enamels at 180°C in order to ensure the best resistance against atmospheric agents. MODELS The MAXA HWA1-A-H (109kW -
345kW) air-cooled reversible heat pump is designed for outdoor installation. So is the MAXA i HP V5H (25kW-70kW) air/water reversible inverter heat pump with axial fans. Italian manufacturer, MAXA, has been designing and distributing products for air conditioning and heating since 1996. Its products are now present in 34 countries around the world with over 350 assistance centres.
