executive Ryan Rotzell, PE , leads the office. Industrial and healthcare projects – two markets with rapidly changing needs and anticipated growth – have comprised the bulk of the office’s recent portfolio. “Changes in healthcare de- livery have resulted in the need for facilities expansions and renovations,” explained Rotzell. “The Lehigh Valley includes major medical cam- puses and industrial hubs. We leverage our location, re- sources, and expertise to pro- vide service for these and other

ey acquisitions and strategic persistence during the recession

markets.” The Bethlehem office has performed over 85 structural engineering projects for Lehigh Valley HealthNetwork on all of its major campuses as well as work for St. Luke’s and Easton Hospitals. In the industrial arena, O’Donnell & Naccarato has completed nearly 25 mil- lion s/f of projects. The office also has ongoing projects for multi-family residential and senior living facilities. 2013 also marked a change in leadership for the firm when Anthony Naccarato, PE,

SECB, was promoted to Presi- dent. He was recognized for 25 years of structural engineer- ing expertise, industry leader- ship, and commitment to the firm. Naccarato succeeded Nick Cinalli, PE, SECB , who served from 2003-2013 and re- mains an active member of the senior leadership team. “Our strong leadership dur- ing the downturn left all three of our offices well positioned for the future,” said Nacca- rato. “We’ve bolstered our core structural engineering with services in façade and garage

restoration, historic preserva- tion, and parking consultation, plus third-party project man- agement and claims consulta- tion. O’Donnell & Naccarato strives to provide services that contribute to the success of our clients, employees, and com- munity.” At 60 years young, and po- sitioned as one of the Mid Atlantic’s largest consulting structural engineering firms, O’Donnell & Naccarato’s fu- ture continues to look bright. Founded in 1954, the com- pany remains one of Philadel- phia’s oldest and largest struc- tural engineering practices. Ongoing projects include expansion of the King of Prus- sia Mall, student housing at West Virginia University and the University of Virginia, and healthcare facilities stretching from Boca Raton, FL, to Nor- walk, CT. The Mountainside office in Union County, NJ, opened in summer 2013 to serve clients and projects in the Metropoli- tan New York region. Twenty- five-year industry veteran Paul Panzarino, PE , was hired as principal to lead the office. In less than a year, the NJ. team has completed nu- merous projects in the health- care, corporate, and academic market sectors. Projects at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, Englewood Hospital, Merck, Pfizer, Rutgers Uni- versity, and Kean University contribute to a positive outlook for the new office. “We recognized the need for a physical presence in the region to benefit our clients in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut,” said Panzarino. “The decision led to improved client relationships and cur- rent projects in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and retail sectors. We are confident the market is improving and look forward to continued growth and expansion of services.” O’Donnell & Naccarato’s Lehigh Valley presence has also experienced positive mo- mentum. The firm’s existing Bethlehem office recently re- located to the One Bethlehem Plaza building in the center of historic downtown. Project Anthony Naccarato
