“We are thrilled to announce this promotion,” explains Jim Petrucci, founder and presi- dent of J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. “Joni has displayed an incred- ible ability to collaborate, lead, and think strategically which is essential to our prop- erty management efforts and reputation.” Elekes joined J.G. Petrucci in 2014 as property man- ager with over 22-years of accounting, human resource, and management experience. Her capabilities and diverse background has enabled her to offer and implement strategies and procedures that have en-
hanced the property manage- ment efforts of J.G. Petrucci and positioned the firm as the Lehigh Valley’s landlord of choice. “Joni’s promotion is a direct result of the positive improve- ments she has made to our property management efforts over the last five years,” said Joe Correia , executive VP of J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. “Her strong attention to detail coupled with her in-depth knowledge of operations has streamlined the procedures within our property manage- ment division while benefit- ting our valued tenants and
client.” In addition to her property management responsibilities, Joni is an active member in her community. She cur- rently serves as co-chair of the social media committee for CREW Lehigh Valley and
vice president of Catasauqua Main Streets—a program that focuses on revitalizing the city’s downtown business district. She is also an active volunteer for the Make a Wish Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. Located at 200 Back Road, Cornerstone At Grassy Hollow is a multifamily neighborhood comprised of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and townhomes, ranging from 729 net s/f to 1,289 net s/f. The apartments will feature indi- vidual private entrances. “This development fits with our program to create much needed, new income-restricted housing,” said Joe DelDuca , partner and director of afford- able housing for Walters. “It’s important for communities to offer a variety of housing op- tions so that residents of differ- ent income levels can remain in their communities.” The two- and three-story buildings are being designed to achieve LEED and ENERGY STAR certification, providing healthful living for residents while reducing energy costs. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) oversees the point-based LEED program which rates projects based on a structure's characteristics and the building methods employed during construction. In addition to being eco- friendly, Cornerstone At Grassy Hollow will offer more modern amenities than most people would expect to find even in market-rate communities, ac- cording to Walters. The subur- ban community will provide a mix of services and amenities, including private entrances to each home, a children's tot lot, basketball court, and a commu- nity clubhouse with computer workstations and a fitness cen- ter, and a program of resident activities. Each apartment will feature in-unit washer/dryer and benefits from 24/7 on-site management andmaintenance. Resident activities and events are offered through our staffed social services coordinator. Located in the Manahawkin section of Stafford Twp., the community will offer close proximity to local shopping areas, dining and entertain- ment. With Long Beach Island just minutes away, residents will have easy access to local beaches and many other recre- ational facilities.
