EVENTS AND CULTURE The Arneken Galerie is more than just a shopping destina- tion – it’s a cultural hub. Regular events delight both children and adults, ranging from arts and crafts stations to music and dance performances, and seasonal highlights like “Christmas Magic”. A distinctive feature of the gallery is its innovative use of vacant spaces. Pop-up shops, selfie points, art installa- tions and temporary exhibitions add variety and excitement to the shopping experience. Additionally, a blood donation drive is held monthly in collaboration with the German Red Cross. HOW TO FIND US At our west entrance, you’ll find the “Kardinal-Bertram- Straße” bus stop, served by various routes. You can also reach us by bike – Arnekenstraße offers bike racks, a bicycle repair station and a vending machine for new tyres. A PARADISE FOR SHOPPERS AND CULTURE LOVERS The Arneken Galerie, a modern shopping centre, is located in the heart of the historic city of Hildesheim. Operated by Klépierre Management Deutschland GmbH, it opened in March 2012. With its wide variety of shops, culinary offerings and cultural events, the gallery has established itself as a popular destination that is well worth a visit and has become an integral part of urban life in Hildesheim. It not only offers a wide range of shopping and leisure opportunities, but also contributes to the economic revitalisation of the city. Also to be discovered: archaeological finds excavated in the 1980s and 2010/2011! In display cases, on pedestals and embedded in the basement floor, you will find various exhi- bits and fascinating historical insights that tell the exciting story of the city between 1550 and 1650. AN EXTRAORDINARY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE The gallery spans three floors and nearly 30,000 square metres, offering an impressive selection of shops. From well-known fashion brands like “H&M” and “Only” to local boutiques, electronics retailer “Expert”, and supermarket “ALDI”, there is something for everyone here. Fashion enthu- siasts in particular will be delighted, as numerous interna- tional and national brands showcase their latest collections. Bargain hunters can also explore treasures from big-name brands at “TK Maxx”.

CULINARY DELIGHTS FOR EVERY TASTE If you need a break from shopping, the centre and its surrounding passages offer a wide range of food and drink options. Whether you’re looking for quick snacks from “Im- mergrün”, “Steinecke”, or “Curry Burger & Co”, a cosy café like “Espresso House” or “Giova”, or a leisurely lunch with ample seating at “Testa’s Death by Pizza”, you’ll find it here. Fans of international cuisine can also indulge in a variety of flavours, from Italian pizzas at “Pastiamo” to Asian speciali- ties at “Asia Do Anh”. COMFORT, SERVICE AND FAMILY-FRIENDLINESS The Arneken Galerie places great emphasis on comfort and visitor satisfaction. The shopping centre is fully acces- sible, ensuring that all areas can be easily reached by those with limited mobility. Convenient lockers are available in the basement for securely storing bags and backpacks. A mobile charging station is also provided for visitors to easily power up their smartphones. Dogs are warmly welcomed at the gallery, as long as they are kept on a lead. Parents with young children can make use of the baby changing room to attend to their little ones’ needs in a quiet environment. The centre also hosts a childcare facil- ity operated by the Caritas Association for the City and District of Hildesheim. Covering a total area of approxima- tely 1,150 square metres, including an outdoor space, the facility provides care for children aged one to three years. And let’s not forget Arnie, our adorable mascot! Standing over two metres tall, this friendly beagle has been part of
