Meet our Resident Expert Dr Vicki Glasgow
degree in Agriculture (Animal Science) at Aberdeen University she went on to study for and attain a PhD in animal nutrition focussing on the interaction between nutrition and reproduction.
Throughout her academic pursuits Vicki remained committed to all things equine. She is a key committee member of her local riding club and currently holds the position of treasurer as well as organising all the training for the club. Despite not being as brave as she used to be Vicki is still an active member of the riding club and competes two of her horses on a regular basis in most disciplines. She currently has four horses (of all shapes and sizes) that she keeps at home and that she looks after herself. Vicki has been a columnist for the Scottish Horse for over a decade writing on all things equine nutrition related, she also does various talks and training sessions for local riding clubs, vets and BHS as well as the talks and training that she does as part of her role as equine nutritionist for Harbro. Vicki is available for help and discussion on any equine nutrition related issues you may have either via our retail stores or directly at our head office in Turriff. Vicki started riding horses at the age of 5 and has been bitten by the bug ever since. She has been working as a nutritionist in the feed industry since 1998, with horses and pigs as her main specialisation. Having completed an honours
