Harbro Equine Specialists Dr Vicki Glasgow is our Equine Nutritionist.

Vicki started riding horses at the age of 5 and has never looked back. She has been working as a nutritionist in the feed industry since 1998, with horses and pigs as her main specialisation. Following

an honours degree in Agriculture (Animal Science) at Aberdeen University she went on to attain a PhD in animal nutrition focussing on the interaction between nutrition and reproduction.

Claire Chisman is a Registered Animal Health Advisor (RAMA) based at our Turriff store.

Claire has worked in racing yards and thoroughbred studs in UK and Ireland, joining Harbro in 2017, and has been qualified as an Animal Health Advisor since 2018. She is also owner of the highly-regarded Tylo Stud, breeding Riding Ponies and racehorses. Claire can offer yard visits to discuss your feed, bedding and worming needs. Kevin Mercer is based at our Hawick Hub. Growing up in the Borders countryside, farming and livestock have always been an integral part of Kevin’s life. He has worked in the agriculture and equestrian industry since 2004, during which time he has

developed a huge interest in the importance that nutrition plays on the wellbeing and performance of the animal, be it the riding club pony prone to laminitis or the elite thoroughbred looking to improve results on track.
