These letters are in addition to recommendations that may come from former supervisors and/or associates of the candidate. In addition,at least three letters are required from individuals within the university are required. • Research Track Same as for Tenure Track. • Clinical Service Track At least three letters of recommendation from faculty who are in a position to judge the quality of the candidate’s activities are required. • Educator Track At least three letters of recommendation from faculty who are in a position to judge the quality of the candidate’s activities are required. • Field Service Track At least three letters of recommendation from faculty who are in a position to judge the quality of the candidate’s activities are required. It is essential that the department director or administrative head include a detailed job description for each Field Service faculty member to provide the guidelines for evaluation of performance by the departmental and college ARPT Committees. • Adjunct Track At least three letters of recommendation from faculty who are in a position to judge the quality of the candidate’s activities are required. • Volunteer Track At least three letters of recommendation from faculty who are in a position to judge the quality of the candidate’s activities are required. • Secondary Appointments: At least three letters of recommendation from faculty who are in a position to judge the quality of the candidate’s activities are required.
