LPAPA's 25th Annual Invitational Catalog Art Show

The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) is pleased to present the 2023 Invitational Catalog Art Show that opens with an online preview auction at 10:00 am PDT on Monday September 4th and ends at 8:00 pm PDT on Thursday September 7th. The show opens at the LPAPA Gallery at 11:00 am on Thursday September 7th and continues through Monday October 16th. Plan to join us for First Thursday Art Walk opening reception on September 7th with extended gallery hours to 9:00 pm. The LPAPA Gallery is located in Laguna Beach on Gallery Row at 414 N. Coast Highway, between Jasmine and Myrtle Streets. Please enjoy this online Invitational Art Catalog Show and plan a visit to the gallery and mark your calendars to join us in Laguna Beach for the Laguna Invitational the week of October 7th - 15th . All of the art work exhibited in this online catalog will be published in the printed Invitational Art Catalog produced exclusively for the 25th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational. The published catalog will be released at the October 14th Collectors Gala. Collectors Gala guests will receive a copy of the 2023 Invitational Art Catalog, as well as the Collectors who purchase a catalog painting. A limited number of Art Catalogs will also be available for purchase during the Invitational Art Show on Sunday October 15th, and through the LPAPA Gallery and online LPAPA Shop. This year’s 2023 Invitational Catalog Art Show features a showcase painting by each of our 35 invited artists as well as each of our 5 Founding Members. This presentation provides an expanded opportunity for collectors near and far to view the show and add a special work of art to their collection while supporting LPAPA, the 25th Annual Laguna Plein Air Invitational, and the Artists! The show opens online with a preview, pre-gallery opening, silent auction at 10:00 am PDT, Monday September 4th ; the auction ends Thursday September 7th at 8:00 pm PDT .

All artwork is sold framed and available with a starting auction price at 80% of the full gallery price, with minimum $20 bid increments. The reduced auction starting price is fully underwritten by LPAPA, so the artists will receive his or her full commission, and LPAPA will receive the remaining portion of above the artist's sales proceeds. You have the option to take advantage of the “buy now” feature to secure your purchase before the physical gallery show opens to the public! Each collector will receive a copy of the 2023 Laguna Plein Air Invitational published catalog with their catalog painting purchase, available after the October 14th Collectors Gala. The Gallery Exhibition and Sales continues through October 16th at the LPAPA Gallery. Due to the Invitational events being hosted throughout the community, the gallery may have modified hours during the week of October 7 - 15; please call (949) 376-3635 to confirm availability to plan your gallery visit. LPAPA is hosting it’s First Thursdays Gallery Reception Presentation on Thursday, September 7th, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm , in celebration of the show opening including a special gallery live-stream visit through our Facebook Page planned to be broadcast.
