This year’s 2023 Invitational Catalog Art Show features a showcase painting by each of our 35 invited artists as well as each of our 5 Founding Members. This presentation provides an expanded opportunity for collectors near and far to view the show and add a special work of art to their collection while supporting LPAPA, the 25th Annual Laguna Plein Air Invitational, and the Artists! The show opens online with a preview, pre-gallery opening, silent auction at 10:00 am PDT, Monday September 4th ; the auction ends Thursday September 7th at 8:00 pm PDT .
All artwork is sold framed and available with a starting auction price at 80% of the full gallery price, with minimum $20 bid increments. The reduced auction starting price is fully underwritten by LPAPA, so the artists will receive his or her full commission, and LPAPA will receive the remaining portion of above the artist's sales proceeds. You have the option to take advantage of the “buy now” feature to secure your purchase before the physical gallery show opens to the public! Each collector will receive a copy of the 2023 Laguna Plein Air Invitational published catalog with their catalog painting purchase, available after the October 14th Collectors Gala. The Gallery Exhibition and Sales continues through October 16th at the LPAPA Gallery. Due to the Invitational events being hosted throughout the community, the gallery may have modified hours during the week of October 7 - 15; please call (949) 376-3635 to confirm availability to plan your gallery visit. LPAPA is hosting it’s First Thursdays Gallery Reception Presentation on Thursday, September 7th, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm , in celebration of the show opening including a special gallery live-stream visit through our Facebook Page planned to be broadcast.
The LPAPA Gallery is located on Gallery Row at 414 N. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, California; hours are 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday through Monday and by appointment. Hours are extended to 9:00 pm the first Thursday of each month for Art Walk.
