Nightmare on the Clermont Trails 5K When: Saturday, Oct. 27, 6:45 p.m. Where: South Lake Trail near Clermont Historic Village Dress up like your favorite spook and hit the trail for this costumed 5K as part of the Harvest Festival. Can’t make it to Clermont that day? No worries! All Sommer Sports is offering a virtual option for out-of-town runners prior to race day. At the event, costumed runners will be eligible to win some of the $1,000 available in prizes. Awards will be given out for the top three runners overall, the top masters, and the top three males and females. Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards’ BBQ and Blues Festival When: Oct. 12-13, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Oct. 14, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Where: Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards Admission: $10 for adults; free for children ages 12 and under Pair some BBQ with blues throughout this three-day festival and rib competition. Sample meat from five different competitors as they battle it out on the grilling gridiron to be crowned the Lakeridge Winery Rib Champion. Listen to some of the area’s top blues bands at the outdoor stage or relax with the solo acts at the wine and cheese bar. Included with the price of admission is a free winery tour and tasting, and arts and crafts vendors
