Ernest Bradley, Jr. the man Behind the Name on the Building in the First Person Introduction

I matriculated at SCSC for four years majoring in Physical Education and Biology. During my tenure at SCSC, I studied hard while playing Football and dating my future wife, Shirley Richardson. We both graduated after four years receiving our Bachelor of Science degrees. After graduation, I was employed by the Greenwood South Carolina School Board to teach at Brewer High School. While at Brewer I taught Physical Education and coached Basketball and Football. I had six good years at Brewer High School. During my years living in Greenwood, South Carolina, Shirley and I held our wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. I continued to live in Greenwood, South Carolina, wanting to locate to Florida.

I completed my tenure at Brewer High School and joined my wife and daughter, Ernita in Orlando, Florida.

I was born to my parents Ernest and Doris Bradley in Windsor, Florida. After living in Windsor, Florida for a short period of time, my parents and I moved to Orlando, Florida. I was educated in Orange County Public Schools: Holden Street Elementary then on to Jones High School. At Jones High, I played Football for four years under several coaches. One of my coaches, David Jackson obtained a Football Scholarship for me to attend South Carolina State College (SCSC) in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Then it was June and I graduated from Jones High School. In August, I registered at South Carolina State College as a Freshman.

After arriving in Orlando, Florida, Seminole County Public Schools employed me to teach at Crooms

Academy in Sanford, Florida. I taught Science, coached Basketball and Football for four years experiencing success in my job, but thinking to leave Crooms. When the school year ended, I still wanted to teach in Orlando, Florida in the Orange County Public Schools where we resided. During the summer, the opportunity finally arrived and I was employed by Orange County Public Schools to teach at Carver Junior High School. I was overjoyed that I could give back to Orange County Students the skills that I had learned teaching
