MEET MARITZA BERNARD
Maritza Bernard, an Orange County native, has built a career rooted in a passion for community and connection. Maritza started on the lending side of the real estate business, deepening her understanding of residential loans. Maritza is the founder of the Coto de Caza Home Tour, an annual event that highlights exquisite homes while supporting City of Hope Orange County, a leading institution in cancer care and research. She and her team have raised over $100,000 through this event and hope it will continue to bring more awareness to this incredible facility. Maritza and her husband have planted their roots in her home town of Coto de Caza with their 4 children. Maritza is a total pro. We had a particularly complicated escrow for an off market listing that we were only able to see in the first place because of her relationships, and throughout the process Maritza worked diligently to address a host of issues, many of which were in danger of derailing the deal. She really knows her stuff, she’s an empathetic tiger, calm and helpful under pressure, a total joy to work with, and a lovely human being. I suspect there are other agents who could have possibly helped us navigate such a messy escrow, but I doubt that any of them would have made it as easy as she did.
