The company states that it does not use virgin pulp as all its raw materials are obtained by recycling discarded boxes. York Container is a member of several industry associ- ations that work to promote standards of excellence in pa- per and packaging manufacturing and resource steward- ship including the Packaging Alliance Network, The Fibre Box Association, and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
