Calibrating with a micro-bath
Instrument technicians need to calibrate a wide variety of temperature sensors including liquid- in-glass thermometers, dial gauges, and sensors that come in odd shapes and sizes. Problems of fit and immersion that may occur with short, square, or odd-shaped sensors are practically eliminated in a Micro-Bath because the probes are immersed in a fluid that is magnetically stirred for optimal stability. Micro-Baths combine the portability of a dry-well with the stability and versatility of a calibration bath. They are lighter and smaller than most dry-wells and come with a spill-proof lid.
