FUTURE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS An important point in the agenda for Linka's continual business development will be to build larger plants, with a capacity of around 10-12 MW. Brian Pedersen tells us: "We want to keep developing solutions that provide greater flexibility for our customers. At Linka we can offer the whole package and adapt our technology according to what the customer is asking for. In the past few years we have experienced an increased demand for our pre-fabricated container solutions, and we want to be able to respond to this need for more flexibility, while also building plants that are larger than what we have built to date".

Linka already has a strong presence in the UK, Norway and Sweden, with a service organisation operating worldwide and a Swedish sales and service organisation operating primarily on this market. Besides the above mentioned projects for the NDEA, Linka was the turnkey contractor on a 4 x 3MW mobile heating plant installed for Aneby Municipality in southern Sweden. The solution consists of two containers with wood pellet boilers and two containers with wood chip boilers. In addition, a service container with a small office, pumps and pressure system was installed on the site. In order to continue growing, Linka will keep looking outwards: export represents between 60-70% of the company's business activities, and according to Brian Pedersen, this tendency will continue with focus on further expansion throughout other European markets.
