NONE NONE List areas of expertise or special qualifications that will be of benefit to the ANCC: I currently serve as a Director of Conservation for the U.S. Department of Agriculture where I manage a portfolio of programs focused on agricultural production and stewardship of natural resources on private lands. If elected to the board, I will draw upon my professional background in law and policy as well as in business management (from a past career managing a small commercial construction business) to serve fellow members. Why do I want to serve on the Board of Governors: I want to serve our great Club and friendly membership to build on our past and push us forward. My family has benefitted from many quality relationships and had tons of fun at our Club. I want to help ensure members are able to keep having the great experiences we have had into the future. I am an avid golfer who loves our courses and enjoys an occasional round of tennis and pickle ball. With three kids (10, 9, and 7) engaged in swim and dive, junior golf, and in the past, junior tennis, our family uses the Club frequently. Our Club culture is unique. I believe it is worth preserving and expanding upon. It is shaped by the wonderful legacy of our membership, including the service that our dedicated military members and their families continue to contribute, and by the ever-increasing demand for great experiences in great Clubs like ours we see today. I realize that many of our Club’s positive attributes — golf and tennis facilities, amenities, great staff, fun atmosphere, positive culture, accessibility, camaraderie, etc. — require thoughtful attention in order to all come together in a way that creates great experiences for the membership. I also realize that being a member of a Club with such a significant legacy, we have all benefitted from past investments made by the membership that have kept our Club going and put us in the positive position we are in today.
