FITNESS & WELLNESS COMMITTEE
LT COL TYLER SCHROEDER, USAF, RET., CHAIR First and foremost, thank you for your incredible support in bringing the Fitness and Wellness Committee to life! Our inaugural year has been marked by significant progress, thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of our diverse committee members representing all corners of ANCC. Their hard work has been instrumental in shaping the future of our Fitness and Wellness offerings, while simultaneously enhancing your experience today. Performance : This year, we've made meaningful upgrades to the Fitness Center, including a complete renovation of the front desk, which has improved efficiency and attentiveness for both you and our staff. We're also refreshing our CYBEX equipment to a more modern version of what you already know, this will provide you with the same great options but better. We're thrilled to report we had the greatest number of visits ever in the month of July and overall, we’ve seen a 64% increase in usage, as more of you are taking advantage of our improved facilities. Programming : We’ve injected new life into our programming with cross-collaboration between ANCC specialties and exciting new offerings. Our expanded services now include eight distinct areas of offerings and nine new types of programming—all designed to “up our game” and better serve your needs. Check out our website or sign up for our emails to make sure you don’t miss a class. Encouragingly, participation in programs has surged by over 45% since last year. We’ve started "Sunday Seminars," where we deep dive into specialized themes for you to explore what you are capable of in all different fields of Fitness & Wellness. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of where we want to take our programming. Now, our only limitation in offerings is our space, but we’ve got a fix for that in our master plan effort! People : Our team has grown by 125%, including the addition of three certified Golf TPI professionals. We’ve also welcomed a full-time nutritionist to support your wellness goals. This increase in staff and expertise has allowed us to extend our hours, providing you with more options, safety, and access to our services.
