ABOUT AALBORG CSP A/S
For the district heating market, Aalborg CSP A/S provides a variety of solar-thermal technologies in order to harvest the sun in the most efficient way and thereby reduce the energy prices of district heating. These technologies include customized CSP parabolic trough plants, flat solar-thermal panels, combination plants and different heat storage technologies. In close collaboration with the clients, Aalborg CSP A/S assists the district heating plants in all aspects, from identification of energy needs to day-to-day operations.

The future is green – just like Fjernvarme Fyn Every day we bring production and supply a step closer to the green society of the future. Our next project is flue-gas condensation in our straw-fired plant. This will produce less smoke and more energy from the same amount of fuel. Efficiency and environmental considerations go hand in hand. We’re also planning to build another electric boiler. This will generate heat from the electricity sometimes left over from an electricity production system increasingly based on wind and solar power. Fjernvarme Fyn is one of Denmark’s largest district heating companies. We supply heating to more than 90,000 households through more than 2,100 km of district heating pipes. The vast majority of the heat is produced at Fjern- varme Fyn’s three CHP plants on Havnegade, fuelled by waste, straw and coal.
