D-013 EASA CS-25 Interior Certification Training (Module 4)

The aim of this course is to introduce the Aviation Flammability Requirements using a combination of theoretical and practical approaches.

Objectives

• Part-21J (DOA) Office of Airworthiness, Cabin Safety Compliance Verification Engineers, cabin interior design engineers, and any personnel involved in the certification of cabin modification, refurbishment, or interior configuration changes in large aircraft • Alternate Part-21J (ADOA) personnel involved in the design and modification of cabin interiors, refurbishments and interior change, and its certification process • Part-21 G (POA) quality manager, production manager, Flammability Compliance Verification Engineer, authorized signature holders, or any personnel involved in the production of the cabin items and testing • Part-145 large aircraft inspectors, certifying staff, and continued airworthiness managers involved in cabin safety, maintenance, operation, and instruction for continued airworthiness • Any personnel, consultants or organizations that are involved in minor/major (STC) modification and/or repair in large aeroplanes in terms of cabin reconfiguration and modification By the end of this course, participants will have gained a detailed understanding of: • the key elements of the flammability aviation requirements • how to identify non-compliant, non-safety items, how to classify the cabin modification, and demonstrate compliance
