The regulatory basis of the course will be tailored to the participants but usually consider: • Basic Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 • Air Operations (EU) 965/2012 • Continuing Airworthiness (EU) 1321/2014 • Aircrew Regulation (EU) 1178/2011 • ICAO Doc 9859 Safety Management Manual (SMM) Management Systems, and Management Systems in general • Workshops consisting of discussions about the lean structure of an effective and compliant OMM, including Safety Management and Compliance Monitoring • Effective tools, which have been well validated in practice, will be provided on a USB-Stick • Strategic orientation of quality concept • Introduction to management systems and process management • Introduction to quality and safety management • Overview of Quality and Safety Management relevant standards i.a.w. ISO 9001, and relevant Commission Regulations including AMC, GM, and ICAO Doc 9859 • Interpretation of those requirements relevant to Quality Systems, Compliance Monitoring Systems, Safety
