n Thursday, November 29th, the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the Ap- praisal Institute hosted its Late Fall Seminar and Dinner Meeting. Nearly forty people attended this event, and this final meeting of the year was well received by all those in attendance. Since the Southern and Cen- tral NJ chapters merged earlier this year, we planned to hold a meeting a little more “centrally” located. So this event was held at Bordentown’s Mastori’s Diner. The food and location seemed to please the chapter members and friends of the chapter that attended (and enjoyed their delicious cheese bread!) In other news, he Chapter held its offering of Business Practices and Ethics on November 30th at the Adelphia. Our own Mary Fox, MAI, instructed the class, who enjoyed her knowledge on the subject and flair for making the class interactive. The Business Practices and Ethics course is re- quired for every five-year cycle and must be included in the 100 hours for Designated members and the 70 hours for Candidates and Practicing Affiliates. This course addresses topics that were not included in the previous version, such as the Guide Notes to Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Nu-
