Research & Publications library Key publications mentioned in this report include: • Tony’s Open Chain Multi-Dimensional Poverty Index Report (2025) • Living income vision overview (2025) • Remediation effectiveness study (2025) • Tony’s Open Chain Child Labour Remediation Policy (2025) Updated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Tony’s Open Chain

Tony’s Open Chain reviewed its KPIs (formerly referred to as the non-financial cocoa KPIs developed by Tony’s Chocolonely) in 2024. The objective of this review was to identify and retain the KPIs that are most meaningful for tracking progress toward our mission. On the basis of this review, a new set of KPIs was issued for the 2024/25 reporting year and beyond. The table below shows the selected KPIs, definitions and the original KPI number reference (where relevant), alongside a description of whether the KPI is new, unchanged or revised. The new set of KPIs is presented in two categories: 1. Scale and 2. Impact. This allows us to measure how we’re progressing towards our long-term goals of achieving high impact and wide scale. We will continue to review and refine our KPIs annually, expanding them as the scope of our work evolves and as regulatory and stakeholder expectations develop.
