2024/25: OUR HIGHLIGHTS AND LEARNINGS Together with partner cooperatives, we:
1.
Increased the number of children covered by the Child Labour Monitoring and Remediation System (CLMRS), from 41,933 in 2023/24 to 66,775 in 2024/25. Identified the highest number of child labour cases to date, with figures rising from 1,544 in 2023/24 to 3,448 in 2024/25 – demonstrating the effectiveness of our approach to the CLMRS at identifying cases across newly onboarded partner cooperatives – and initiating remediation for every case. Developed and expanded on our Child Labour Remediation Policy, towards increasing remediation effectiveness based on our learning from the past years. Built a community-level approach to addressing forced labour in Ghana, via the creation of Community Child & Labour Protection Committees (CCLPCs). This was done through a pilot project (CIRCLE) with partners ICI and Fairtrade Africa, funded by Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 81 Launched our strategic partnership with Agriterra, funded by RVO, to advance digital payments and financial literacy – emphasizing household resilience, shared decision-making, and empowering farmers and their families in the transition to mobile money.

1.
Evaluating our approach to forced labour prevention at the cooperative level, while scaling community-based grievance mechanisms.
