The moment I love most in my day is realizing that the message I just shared during an awareness session has been well understood. I also love to see that the number of child labourers is decreasing. When I first started, there were many more cases. I’ve been with the cooperative for nearly 5 years and have seen Tony’s work with ECOJAD make a big impact. Tony’s has helped make the cooperative more attractive to local communities through community projects such as schools, water wells, canteens and many other things, as well as child labour remediation initiatives. There are also the premiums we distribute through Tony’s Open Chain, all of which has contributed to reducing the rate of child labour.
After the interviews are completed, I go back to the ECOJAD office and discuss the results and proposed remediation actions with my manager.
