CANDIDATES:
Nomination papers as well as all other official documents and forms required for running for office are provided by, and must be filed with, the San Bernardino City Clerk prior to the deadline.
❖ The filing period for Nomination Documents is: Monday, February 9, 2026 , through Friday, March 6, 2026. If an incumbent fails to file by 4:00 p.m. on March 6, 2026 there will be a filing period extension by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2026 (for candidates other than incumbent).
❖ Where to file: City Clerk’s Department, 201 North E Street,Building A, San Bernardino, CA 92401.
❖ Nomination Documents will be accepted: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. except for Holiday closures. Appointment to submit your nomination documents are required; Please call the San Bernardino City Clerk’s Department at (909) 998-2680 to schedule your appointment.
❖ Holiday closure during the nomination period: President’s Day – Monday, February 16, 2026
