NATS UNBEATEN STREAK REACHES 21 GAMES AFTER WINS OVER RENFREW, NEPEAN ANIL JHALLI anil.jhalli@eap.on.ca
Jérémy Belleau, Vital Dinis, Gabriel Le Houillier and Alex Kelloway scored for Rockland. Le Houillier added two assists while Kayden Newton stopped 33 of 34 shots he faced, earning the win in goal for Rockland. Dominant over Nepean Fresh of a 4-1 win over the the Wolves, the Nats visited the Raiders the following night. Gabriel Le Houillier scored three goals, pushing his league leading total to 44 goals and earned first honours in a convincing 11-3 win over Nepean. Connor Pierson and Jérémy Belleau scored two goals each for Rockland, while Alex Kel- loway, Nolan Turnbull, Justin Garneau and Mathis Baril scored for Rockland. The Rockland Nationals have now won 21 games in a row after defeating the Renfrew Wolves and the Nepean Raiders last weekend. The last time the team lost, was on Nov 8, 2025, by a score of 3-2 against the Ottawa Junior Senators. The Nats, who claimed the top spot in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Power Rankings, will look to extend their winning streak when they battle the Raiders this Friday night in Rockland. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. Hosting Renfrew The Wolves traveled to Rockland to take on the Nats last Friday evening, and the reigning Bogart Cup champions were able to come away with a 4-1 win.

sous le nom du Journée Jacques Martin, en l’honneur du 30e anniversaire de Martin en tant qu’entraîneur-chef des Sénateurs. Martin a entraîné les Sénateurs de 1996 à 2004, et sous sa direction, l’équipe s’est qualifiée pour les séries éliminatoires lors de chacune de ses huit saisons complètes. Il a remporté le trophée Jack Adams en tant qu’entraîneur de l’année de la LNH en 1999 et a mené les Sénateurs à leur seul trophée des présidents en tant que champions de la saison régulière de la ligue lors de la saison 2002-2003. Il occupe la première place dans l’histoire de la franchise des Sénateurs en termes de nombre de matchs entraînés (748), de victoires en carrière (367) et de victoires en séries éliminatoires (31).

Quelques heures avant que l’ancien entraîneur-chef ne soit intronisé dans l’histoire des Sénateurs d’Ottawa en tant que devenir le nouveau membre du Ring of Honour de l’équipe, Jacques Martin a reçu une distinction spéciale du maire d’Ottawa, Mark Sutcliffe. Alors qu’il s’adressait aux médias locaux avant la cérémonie qui allait faire de lui le quatrième membre du Ring of Honour des Sénateurs d’Ottawa, Martin, qui est né et a grandi à Saint-Pascal-Baylon, a été surpris par le maire Sutcliffe qui a déclaré que le 24 janvier 2026 serait désormais connu
