FRIENDS & FELLOW CATTLEMEN, Welcome to the 13th Annual Raml Cattle Production Sale! We invite you to join us at the ranch, Friday, February 13th at 1:00 pm.
Exciting times have found us in the cattle industry, and we are here to enjoy the ride. With all-time highs in the marketplace, now more than ever is the time to invest in genetics that will take a cowherd to the next level. While our breeding philosophy of high performing, eye appealing, maternally based cattle is at our forefront we look forward to forging a path focusing on female first matings. We have added herd sires to our resident bull battery that we feel will accomplish these goals such as Musgrave Future, Musgrave Sequoia, W/C Innovator and KCC1 Clockwork. These bulls are backed by some of the top females in the breed that excel in udder quality, foot quality and maternal longevity. We will be offering a group of performance oriented, maternally based, phenotypically desirable herd sires. As in the past, these bulls have not been pampered, but well presented. The bulls are raised on large sections of grass and limited creep. The bulls are weaned on grass and left to run on pasture until the weather dictates, they need to be home for winter. We believe these bulls can do their part to improve your herd. Regardless of environment, program or end goal, we feel these bulls will add saleable pounds, eye appeal and structural integrity. In addition, we are offering another set of registered bred heifers from the heart of our registered herd. Every registered heifer due to calve after sale day is being offered, none held back. They are of the same genetics as the ones still in our herd and were mated to the same sires we are calving now. It has long been our belief that with great mothers everything else will take care of itself. We feel these females will illustrate the priorities of our breeding philosophy. These females will give an opportunity to see first-hand what our entire operation is founded on, our cowherd. Again, we welcome you, Friday, February 13th to our ranch near Goodwin, SD or any time prior to sale day to view the offering. Join us for lunch starting at 11 AM and the sale at 1:00 PM. We will also be hosting a Steak Supper and live entertainment following the sale. We hope you can make plans to join us! The cattle will be penned outside our heated sale facility for viewing. This will be a video auction and no cattle will enter the sale ring. Viewing and bidding will also be available on DVAuction.com.
