Like one of them good ole boys whose day starts at the local coffee shop, “Peter” finds himself in most conversations. It’s hard to be forgotten when you’re the big ribbed, soft easy doing bull whose skeleton is built for the long haul. But, to keep the conversation going, “Peter” reminds you his length of side, smooth build, and added performance is ready for the work. The exciting side of “Peter” is his great numbers as he ranks top 2% for both WEPD and YEPD. Genomically, he ranks top 1% for weaning and top 3% for yearling. His young Bushs Wing Man daughter ranks top 5% of the breed for milk. As the good ole boys in town would say, “they don’t quite make ‘em like they used to.” So, take your shot and get one of the good ones.
Another “Pete” son that has tremendous growth, maternal, and design. With a weaning ratio of 107, he should gather a lot of attention. He is a borderline calving ease sale lot based upon his dam’s record and the good genomic results for low birth weight potential. His growth EPDs rank him top 10% of the breed and maternal is right there as well with a top 20% rank. Genomics were darn good for him as the weaning rank was top 1%, and yearling top 2%. His dam ranks in the top 3% for milk and when in production, she looks like it. What a combination bull. He has the frame and numbers for pounds, excellent maternal background, borderline calving ease and a profile that is easy to like.
