He is a long-sided moderate birth weight bull with a big spread in his numbers to weaning. He ranks top 7% for WEPD and his foot score for angle is top 1%. His dam has established a solid record for growth over 7 calves. Her production is similar to her mother whose record is 8/107 for weaning and 7/107 for yearling. Lot 1 is typical of the RiseAbove bulls with his extra muscle definition and quality. He can be considered a borderline calving ease sire.
COULD BE USED ON HEIFERS If predictable was a cow family, I’d reckon it’d be this one. We strive to push the envelope each year bringing in new genetics, and at the end of the day it’s logical this beautiful 6-year-old cow is going to lay down and do her thing. “Logic” like his brothers before him is a big footed, monster hipped, masculine, dense made future herd bull ready to take his turn. What a calving ease prospect, the three generations on the maternal side have had 19 calves and averaged ratio only 94 at birth. His heifer pregnancy and CED both rank in top 10% of the breed. “Logic” and the 0032 cow already took the hard thinking out of it, just join the ride.
