EXPECTED PROGENY DIFFERENCES We are proud of the genetic improvement and years of performance data that are showcased in these bulls EPD’s. The bulls are weighed and adjusted to the age of the calf. They are put into contemporary groups and then ranked against each other. Once weights are taken, the bulls EPD’s reflect the performance information from the bull, his sire, dam and other relatives along with genomic information. EPD’s change weekly since breeders throughout the country submit weights and measurements yearly. Taking this information into account, comparison is most accurate when using EPD’s instead of individual weights. Over 99% of bulls are genomic tested for EPD's - genomic tesing improves accuracy 20%.
