Attendance Attendance in all classes shall be required for at least 80 per cent of the semester's class sessions. This means that for a three unit class nine absences are allowed and for a two unit class six absences are allowed. Regardless of the reason for absence (be it medical, business, etc.), ten absences from any three unit class or seven absences from any two unit class will result in an automatic F. Three tardies equal one absence. Double absences will be recorded for absences during the week prior to final exams of any semester and the day before and after a regularly scheduled holiday such as Thanksgiving recess, Christ­ mas recess, Easter recess. Daily chapel attendance is required. To graduate, a student must have at least twice as many grade points as units in the total credit value of all courses undertaken by him, and a 2.00 grade point average in the major field. Report cards showing grades will be issued to students from the Registrar's Office. Academic Load The minimum full-time load is twelve units. A student who is on scholastic probation may be limited to twelve units or less de­ pending upon his grade point average. A unit of credit is generally considered to consist of one class hour (50 minutes) a week for a semester. In physical education activities, laboratory sessions, and in a few other instances, a unit of credit may involve more than one class period a week.
