ST U D EN T P ERS O N N EL S ERV I C ES / 37 Biola College is pleased to recommend to parents a monthly payment program permitting them to pay from one to four years of educational expenses over periods as long as 60 months. This service, avai lable through Education Funds, Inc. of Providence, Rhode Island, offers broad insurance coverage which assures the continuance of the student's education for the length of the agree ment in event of the parent's death or disability. Unlike some other programs, EFI has no cancellation charge. Information regarding the various loan programs may be ob tained from the Student Finance Office. Student Aid As funds are available the College awards grants-in-aid to needy students from the Student Aid Fund. This fund is maintained by gifts from friends of the College. Students are not required to repay the College but are expected to perpetuate the fund by their own contributions when they have completed school. This will pro vide funds for others who are in need. RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS All students who are not married or living with their parents are required to live in the dormitories. Any exception must be approved by the Dean of Students Office prior to registration. Each floor has baths, shower rooms, and laundry rooms equipped with metered washing machines and driers. While a few single rooms are available in the women's dormi tory, most are for two students. Students are expected to supply their blankets, bedspreads, and electric irons; however, irons may not be used in students' rooms, nor may any cooking equipment. Each dormitory unit is in charge of a qualified house parent. The administration reserves the right to inspect rooms at any time. DISCIPLINE Biola College is dedicated to the training of young people who are sincere and earnest in their desire to live for Jesus Christ.
