Analysis of the legislative, legal, ceremonial, campaign, and sermonic forms of public address; consideration of outstand ing speeches that illustrate these forms; some practice in speech composition and delivery.

Survey of the leading trends in rhetorical theory and prac tice; analysis of selected treatises and orations.
405. GROUP COMMUNICATION. (3)
A survey of contemporary communication theory including general semantics and group dynamics. The study of leader ship, group process, and interpersonal relations in the small group.

Etiology and treatment of cerebral palsy, cleft palate, aphasia, and organic disorders. Prerequisite: 320.
