CHURCH SECRETARY AND VISITOR. (2) The duties of an individual who assumes these positions in a church, as preparing the weekly bulletin, caring for correspondence, and conducting of visitation.

The purpose of this course is to train students for elementary school teaching in accordance with the standards of the California State Department of Education so that they may teach in public elementary schools, Christian day schools, and on the mission field. It is becoming increasingly necessary for teachers planning service on the mission field to be prepared on levels acceptable to the state schools in the United States. It will be apparent to the .student, upon reading the outline of this course, that it will be necessary to plan five years for its completion. The total number of semester hours required for completion is 158. Of this number 121 must be liberal arts courses while 30 must be Bible and doctrine, according to the requirement of the Accredit­ ing Association of Bible Institutes and Bible Colleges. 301.
