320 VOCAL WORKSHOP (1) Voice building, problems of solo and group singing, and a survey of solo and small ensemble vocal literature. Designed only for musi c education and applied music majors with instrumental emphasis. Students with a vocal emphasis should not enroll in this class. 322 WOODWIND WORKSHOP (2) Elementary instruction in clarinet, flute , oboe, basson, and saxophone. Correct tone production, t echnique, and care of instruments . 323 BRASS WORKSHOP (2) Elementary instruction in trumpet, a lto horn, French horn, trombone, baritone horn, and tuba. Correct tone production, technique, and care of instruments. 321 STRING WORKSHOP (2) Elementary instruction in violin, viola, ce llo, and bass. Tone production, bowing, tech­ nique, and care of instruments. 324 PERCUSSION WORKSHOP (1) The rudiments of snare drum. Instruction in performing on other percussion instru­ ments.
