BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE Ob jectiv es:
The aims of the Biological Science curriculum are (1) acquaint ing all students with the reasoning processes of the scientific method as applied in biology, with the existing principles of biology as they apply to our age of technology, and with the dynamic state of advance in knowledge in biology; (2) supporting t he curricu lum of majors in other departments (Nursing, Psy chology, Physical Education, Education); ( 3 ) supplying a strong foundational core curriculum for the major in general Biological Science, and providing depth within a balanced selection of the major areas within biology.
BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE MAJOR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE
The r equired core curriculum includes the following: Biological Science 101, 202, 300, 311, 320, 331, 401; Chemistry 105 , 106, 301, 420; Physics 107, 108; Mathe matics 105, 106.
