process in the winter of 2020/2021 by participating in comprehensive surveys, follow-up discussion and analysis of results, multiple webinar sessions, case study workshops, and more. Community Hub: Also part of our Strategic Plan, under the category of Inclusivity, was the goal of establishing Levine to become more of a Community Hub for both Jewish and non-Jewish families. Through the introduction of our school’s first summer camp for elementary and middle school students in 2019, called Summer@Levine, the school has been seeking to expand its auxiliary programming in such a way as to bring families from the Jewish community and beyond to campus for events, programming, and activities—making use of our campus for evening programs during the school year, and of course making our campus a location of activity for students and parents through the summer as well. Special Report on Parent Survey—conducted May 2021 Levine Academy conducted its third comprehensive parent satisfaction survey in the past six years - this most recent survey was conducted in May of 2021. In terms of participation: 50% of the Early Childhood families participated; 50% of Lower School families filled it out; and 40% of Middle School families took part. A total of 143 parents filled out the survey (compared to 100 parents filling out the survey in 2017). This report will enumerate the highest attributes, in addition to those attributes which received the most minimal among the highest marks. The report will also list comments and suggestions, as well as list a representative series of positive comments offered in the open comment section. MOST POSITIVE ATTRIBUTES: n Several positive attributes in this 2021 survey received over 90% who selected STRONGLY AGREE (SA) or AGREE (A). These positive attributes include the following, which are listed in order of highest percentage of Strongly Agree marks: o The school is attentive to campus security and student safety. [SA: 80.0% +A: 19.13%] o The moral development of students is positively affected by the school’s programs and actions. [SA: 74.6% + A: 18.25%] o The school community is ethical in its programs and actions. [SA: 73.81% + A: 22.22%] o School buildings and grounds are well maintained. [SA: 73.04% + A: 24.35%] o My children are getting a solid foundation in Jewish values. [SA:72.73% + A: 23.64%]
