Self Study Report

• Faculty desires to find many linkages between Jewish Studies, Hebrew and General Studies courses, and there have been some successes, but there are many more inter-curricular opportunities to realize. • Students don’t have access to individualized learning support in Hebrew, as much as they do in math and language arts. Action Steps • Elevate and market our Hebrew Language curriculum much more among our parent body. • Gear teaching toward engaging students in Hebrew Language learning more through establishing personal connections and creating relevant learning. • Build a professional Hebrew Language Learning Support team. • Keep our Middle School Hebrew language learning exciting by personalizing instruction and find more ways to engage students; create more opportunities for Hebrew language exposure outside the classroom. • Coordinate the behavioral and academic expectations in the Hebrew program to align with general studies classes.
