That’s why we begin with a solid foundation of project management support, covering everything from initial procurement to final installation, for both turnkey and bespoke projects. Interior Design
By engaging us for your interior design project, you will be entrusting your vision to a team of highly skilled, experienced interior designers and professional tradespeople. On everything from small-scale remodelling to complete renovations, we will work with you to create a property that epitomises you and your lifestyle. Employing abilities honed over many years, our team can handle every facet of the project: internal and external decorating and painting, plastering, tiling, property extensions, partitions, maintenance, plumbing and installation of the full infrastructure of the property. At each stage, they will apply only the highest quality products and follow a strict preparation procedure, for impeccable, lasting results. Your role can be as large or small as you wish. An off-the-shelf, ‘turnkey’ package provides the reassurance and simplicity of following a pre-established model, leaving the fine details to us. Alternatively, a more bespoke
package enables you to have greater involvement and personalisation of the project. In either case, you will enjoy entire project management support, from procurement and budget management to delivery and installation. As professional building contractors, we have vast experience in contracting and property refurbishment, across private and commercial buildings. We provide a suite of bespoke services for schools, hotels, private members’ clubs, embassies, homeowners, landlords and estate management companies. Much of our experience has been gained working on a variety of disciplines within listed buildings, so you can be confident your historic property will be in safe hands. The very highest standards apply, whether we are approaching the smallest of property projects or the refurbishment and renovation of multimillion-pound properties. Acoustic Soundproofing
While doing so, we consider all relevant building regulations and your personal needs, to create a bespoke solution. This is finely tuned to your particular property and situation, not to mention your individual budget, and may involve proprietary acoustic materials and suppliers. Our service includes: • Specification of external building fabric (glazed and non-glazed) to minimise noise break-in or break-out • Acoustic design, review of internal building fabric for privacy and overall acoustic quality • Investigation of room acoustics for a wide range of environments (recording studios, lounges, commercial spaces, learning spaces, offices)
Here at Chelci Group, we have a unique focus on the experience our properties provide – and sound is a vital part of that. It’s why our team of acoustic consultants offer highly specialised advice on upgrade solutions for separating walls or floors, to create a space that sounds as refined and beautiful as it looks. The initial step is a full site inspection, combined with specialist sound testing equipment and insulation investigation. This is where we record our first impression of how well the separating wall or floor performs in blocking intrusive outside noise. The next step involves enhancing the insulation to eliminate unwanted sound. We review all the construction details available, along with our survey findings, and recommend ways to upgrade the sound insulation and acoustic detailing.

Carbon Footprint Manufacturing is a major contributor to carbon emissions, so we choose our suppliers carefully to mitigate our impact on the planet. Just as importantly, we work closely with clients to help them make sustainable and low-impact choices in completing their projects with us. Amongst the key factors in reducing our carbon footprint are using recycled materials, locally sourcing products and ensuring responsible procurement. Beyond this, we help to limit our emissions by considering both staff commuting and transportation. Our team largely travel by public transport or cycling, and we are conscientious in our use of company vans. Our switch towards all-electric transportation is an important pillar of our environmental policy. We are currently using electric vans as part of our fleet within London and constantly learning more about the best ways to use them to reduce our impact on the planet. We are also planning to install more charging points for overnight charging and to increase our capacity for electric vehicles.
Waste Management As you would expect, we are tasked with managing a vast amount of waste, from discarded furniture to chemical waste, from wood to plastic, in a responsible and accountable way. Regulations mean that, very often, waste must be transported away from the site before it is separated and sorted. This is why we have longstanding partnerships with waste removal professionals who transport the waste, separate it and responsibly manage it. We also ensure there is a clear chain of provenance so that we can track different types of waste and the means of disposal. Energy Efficiency We have worked to make our headquarters as energy-efficient as possible, while going above and beyond current requirements when it comes to the efficiency of our clients’ properties. Responsible Sourcing Well-organised logistics help us reduce emissions as well as costs. We aim for shorter, less frequent journeys by ordering from the closest suppliers we can find for every project. Just as importantly, we plan ahead and buy our materials in bulk to reduce the need for repeat journeys.

Our environmental policy has been created with an in-depth knowledge of the current state of play, but also with consideration towards future regulations and making sure best practice becomes our benchmark. We are ISO9001 accredited and well on our way to the additional ISO14001 accreditation too, with a set of demanding key performance indicators as part of our environmental policy. Along with the theory, we have the practical experience of making our environmental aspirations and promises work within the challenging restrictions of a global city.
Reducing our environmental impact is not only the right thing to do, but also the smart thing to do from a regulatory, financial and future-proofing point of view. Technology doesn’t stand still, nor does the law, so we ensure we keep pace with both.
