Laboratory fee: $10.00. 410 ADVANCED NURSING - LECTURE (3) Leadership, planning for change, contemporary issues in nursing, historical perspec tive, nursing organizations and legislation. Prerequisite: 402. 410 ADVANCED NURSING - LABORATORY (3) Theory and concurrent laboratory experience in leadership in the clinical agencies. Twelve hours laboratory. Laboratory fee: $10.00. 420 COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH NURSING- LECTURE (4) Philosophy, history, and scope of psychiatric nursing: development of current theories and recent adjuncts, such as, behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and crisis intervention. Prerequisite: 402. 420 COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH NURSING - LABORATORY (6) Theory and concurrent laboratory experience in one-to-one nurse-patient interaction; in small groups of patients, in collaboration with interdisciplinary team; and in contributing to a therapeutic milieu. Supervised clinical practice in psychiatric and mental health agencies. Twenty-four hours laboratory. Laboratory fee: $10.00. 430 PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING- LECTURE (4) Philosophy and scope of public health science administration; application based on social characteristics, patterns of health and disease of a community, preventive and control measures, community health education, rehabilitation, and related problems. Prerequisite: 402. 430 PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING- LABORATORY (6) Theory and concurrent laboratory experience in community health agencies; emphasis on philosophy of positive health, and skills in preventive and health promotion. Twenty-four hours laboratory. Laboratory fee: $10.00.
