ELECTIVES Normally a student has considerable freedom in the choice of electives that his program may permit upon the completion of Bible, general education, and major requirements. However, in addition to the note given at the end of the Bible Requirements, the non-music major is limited to a maximum of eight units of credit in applied music (including ensembles ). Christian Service and Character Each student is assigned some form of practical Christian service, for which he is given credit each semester. These Christian service credits are required for graduation but are not computed in the student's academic load. In addition to receiving satisfactory scholastic rating in all required courses, a student must give satisfactory evidence of good Christian character and sound ness of doctrine, and have met all financial obligations. Daily chapel (attendance required) has for its purpose the deepening of the student's spiritual life. Through a variety of dedicated Christian speakers the student is made aware of the purposes and program of evangelical Christianity throughout the world.
