A survey of the literature of Hispanic America from colonial to modern times: reading and discussion of the outstanding literary works and movements. Conducted in Spanish. (3, 3) A survey of the literature of Spain from earliest times to present: reading and discussion of the outstanding literary works and movements. Cond ucted in Spanish. Prerequisite: 302 or equ ivalent, 406 not prerequisite to 407.

Individual research and writing for advanced students by special arrangement. May be repeated in another area for credit. Prerequisite: 40,1, 405, 406, 407 or equivalents. LIBRARY SCIENCE Objective. The objective of this department is to provide in struction in the organization of personal libraries and files, to pro vide the basic training for library work in school and church library situations, and to give a working knowledge of bibliographic and basic literature in the various disciplines usually included in liberal arts education and in the specialized curricula of Biola College.
